ManTech International, a company that specializes in cyber operations and data collection and analytics that support national and homeland security, has acquired cybersecurity solutions provider Tapestry Technologies, according to a prepared statement. The company also will add Tapestry's 150 cybersecurity professionals to its team.

This is M&A deal number 526 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2020. See the full M&A deal list here.

The Tapestry acquisition extends ManTech's cyber defense capabilities within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), ManTech stated. It allows ManTech to deliver new cyber defense solutions to its customers and positions the company for continued growth.

ManTech will explore ways to leverage Tapestry's cybersecurity expertise to enhance its solutions portfolio, CEO Kevin M. Phillips stated. In doing so, ManTech is well-equipped to fulfill customers' cyber defense requests and grow its operations.

The Tapestry acquisition also expands ManTech's cyber defense solutions portfolio, the company indicated. It helps ManTech protect U.S. defense, intelligence community and federal civilian agencies against new and evolving cyberattacks.
