Cybersecurity, PCI Compliance Acquisition: Sysnet Global Solutions Buys NuArx

Sysnet Global Solutions has acquired cybersecurity and compliance solutions provider NuArx, according to a prepared statement. The news comes after Sysnet purchased the Managed Compliance Solutions (MCS) division of ControlScan, a Top 250 MSSP, and cyber defense company Viking Cloud in December 2020.

This is M&A deal number 12 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2021. See all technology M&A deals for 2021 and 2020 listed here.

NuArx brings compliance and security expertise to Sysnet, the companies said. It is expected to help Sysnet deliver a cyber defense platform and security consulting services and accelerate the company's global expansion.

NuArx offers the SecurePCI platform for managed security and PCI compliance. The platform offers a variety of cybersecurity capabilities, including:

  • Secure Firewall: Consists of a managed firewall to protect an organization's networks and its customers' credit card information against cyberattacks
  • Secure Remote Access: Provides a remote access tool with two-factor authentication
  • Vulnerability Scans: Helps organizations identify and address weak areas in their networks

In addition, SecurePCI includes a data breach protection plan that covers the costs of forensic audits, fines from the acquiring bank and replacement of all customer credit cards following a credit card data breach. It also offers data security policy guidance and PCI training.

What Does the NuArx Acquisition Mean for Sysnet?

The NuArx acquisition puts Sysnet in position to deliver cybersecurity and compliance solutions to organizations worldwide. Sysnet looks poised to further expand its North American operations as well.

Sysnet provides payment card industry, cybersecurity and compliance solutions to help global organizations minimize risk. The company supports over 4 million merchants and payment processors.
