Quickpass Cybersecurity, a Canadian company that specializes in privileged access management (PAM) and help desk security automation for MSPs, has raised $3 million in Series A funding. The company also has secured $7 million in total during its Series A funding round.

The Series A funding will help Quickpass bolster its PAM and help desk security automation tools for MSPs and their customers, the company said. It comes after Quickpass doubled its annual recurring revenue in the first six months of 2022.

A Closer Look at Quickpass

Quickpass offers a PAM and help desk security automation solution that helps MSPs prevent ransomware and social engineering attacks and destroy password reset tickets, the company stated. In addition, Quickpass provides two products: Q Desk and Q Guard.

Q Desk provides self-service password reset and identity verification capabilities, Quickpass noted. It allows MSPs to manage help desks that meet SLA requirements and resolve tickets quickly and securely.

Meanwhile, Q Guard lets MSPs secure sensitive customer accounts against external and internal threats, Quickpass indicated. It also allows MSPs to automatically onboard a customer account, link it to a password vault and rotate privileged, service and local account passwords as needed.

Over 400 MSP partners are using Quickpass technologies for PAM and help desk security automation, the company said. These partners include:

  • Flexible Systems
  • LincolnIT
  • The Purple Guys

Quickpass offers integrations with ConnectWise Manage, IT Glue from Kaseya, and other software that MSPs commonly use to manage their operations. The company also plans to offer a Datto Autotask PSA integration soon.

Privileged Access Management for MSPs: Multiple Startups

Multiple startups promote PAM to the MSP sector. Names to know include CyberFox, a startup led by ConnectWise co-founder and former President David Bellini. Meanwhile, scores of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions will be on display at the Identiverse 2022 conference next week in Denver.
