SOCaaS and XDR Funding: AgileBlue Raises $2.25 Million

AgileBlue, a security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) and eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform provider, has added $2.25 million in a preferred funding round.

The company remains focused on helping global organizations defend against ransomware, phishing and other cyber threats, AgileBlue President Tony Pietrocola stated. It will continue to explore ways to monitor, detect and respond to threats across these organizations' on-premise, cloud and remote work environments.

The funding news comes after AgileBlue in November 2021 incorporated endpoint protection capabilities into its SOCaaS and XDR platform.

Organizations can use the platform's endpoint protection capabilities to hunt for cyber threats and isolate and prevent cyberattacks, AgileBlue noted. Meanwhile, AgileBlue's MSP and MSSP partners can leverage these capabilities to help their customers reduce vendor sprawl and find ways to improve their customers' cybersecurity strategies.

A Closer Look at AgileBlue's Partner Program

MSPs and MSSPs can join AgileBlue's partner program to offer "critical cyber technology with high margins and recurring revenue," the company indicated.

The program lets partners leverage AgileBlue's user behavior analytics and machine learning to detect indicators of attack before a breach occurs, the company said. Program features include:

  • Cyber Risk Scoring: Allows partners to monitor customer activity, identify and analyze cyber risks and provide a Cyber Risk Score that highlights the risks a customer faces and ways to guard against them.
  • Custom Reports: Offers monthly cybersecurity reports, recommendations and benchmarking.
  • SOC Live Chat: Enables partners to get in touch with AgileBlue's SOC in real time.

AgileBlue has added more than 60 channel partners globally over the past 12 months, the company noted. It also looks poised to grow its partner program.
