Airgap Networks has acquired NetSpyGlass and will use the company's asset intelligence capabilities to help its customers respond to risks and vulnerabilities across their business-critical networks, according to a prepared statement.
This is technology M&A deal number 183 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2023.
Airgap, founded in 2019, is based in Santa Clara, California. The company has 37 employees listed on LinkedIn. Airgap's areas of expertise include asset, network and threat intelligence.
NetSpyGlass, founded in 2014, is based in Los Gatos, California. The company has eight employees listed on LinkedIn. NetSpyGlass specializes in network performance monitoring.
Airgap Bolsters Its Zero Trust Firewall (ZTFW) Platform
NetSpyGlass' asset intelligence capabilities will be incorporated into Airgap ZTFW to help users "better detect, locate and contain device anomalies in real time," the companies said. These capabilities enhance Airgap ZTFW users' network visibility. They also provide Airgap ZTFW users with insights into device status, attributes and interactions that they can utilize to make data-driven decisions on how to deal with network risks and vulnerabilities.
Airgap CEO Ritesh Agrawal shared his thoughts on what NetSpyGlass means for Airgap ZTFW users:

Airgap has a Partner Network that includes MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers. Meanwhile, Airgap partners can use Airgap ZTFW to deliver zero trust isolation solutions, the company said.
