Arctic Wolf has expanded its collaboration with AWS through a new strategic agreement designed to enhance the capabilities of its
Aurora Platform and AI-powered Security Operations Center (SOC). The partnership will help Arctic Wolf scale its operations globally, improve AI-driven detection and response, and strengthen its growing partner ecosystem, particularly MSSPs that rely on the Aurora Platform to deliver modern security outcomes.
Scaling AI-Powered Security Operations
The Aurora Platform, which already processes more than nine trillion security observations every week, runs on AWS’s high-performance cloud infrastructure. This foundation gives Arctic Wolf the elasticity to handle massive data volumes and deliver real-time insights with greater precision.
Sean Phillips, VP of Alliances at Arctic Wolf, told MSSP Alert that this deeper collaboration with AWS marks a natural evolution of the company’s mission to secure organizations of all sizes.
“Our collaboration with AWS helps us continue scaling one of the world’s largest commercial SOCs,” said Phillips. “The Aurora Platform already processes more than nine trillion security observations each week, and leveraging AWS’s infrastructure allows us to do that with even greater speed, reliability, and reach. This agreement deepens our access to AWS technology and expertise so we can keep advancing our AI models, improve how quickly we detect and respond to threats, and ultimately deliver better outcomes for customers around the world.”
That expanded access means Arctic Wolf can optimize its use of AWS technologies, from compute and storage to analytics and telemetry, while continuing to refine its Alpha AI engine. Together, these capabilities will allow Arctic Wolf’s SOC analysts and partner teams to cut through alert fatigue, accelerate investigations, and make faster, better-informed decisions.
Unifying Security Data Across Cloud and On-Premises
One of the most significant outcomes of this agreement is deeper integration between Arctic Wolf’s Aurora Platform and AWS’s telemetry and data services. The platform supports the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF), allowing data from AWS, SaaS platforms, and on-prem systems to flow into a single, normalized view. This unified model gives MSSPs and customers a clearer picture of their security posture.
Phillips explained, “Integrating AWS telemetry and supporting the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) lets us bring data from multiple sources into one consistent view. Instead of teams struggling to make sense of siloed or differently formatted logs, everything flows into a unified data lake within the Aurora Platform. That makes it far easier to see what’s happening across AWS, SaaS, and on-prem environments, spot suspicious activity faster, and respond with confidence.”
This level of visibility is critical for MSSPs managing multiple client environments. By centralizing and standardizing data, Arctic Wolf simplifies one of cybersecurity’s biggest operational challenges: making different systems speak the same language without increasing management complexity.
Strengthening MSSP and Channel Capabilities
For Arctic Wolf’s growing network of MSSPs and channel partners, the AWS collaboration creates new efficiency gains and business opportunities. Running the Aurora Platform on AWS’s infrastructure means partners can onboard new customers faster, scale services on demand, and reduce the overhead associated with managing multiple tools and integrations.
“For our MSP and channel partners, this collaboration strengthens the foundation they rely on,” said Phillips. “Running on AWS enables us to deliver new services faster and at a scale that supports growing partner demand. The enhanced integration means MSPs can more easily extend the Aurora Platform’s capabilities to their customers, unify data across environments, and deliver managed detection and response with less operational overhead. It’s about making it simpler and more efficient for partners to deliver world-class security outcomes.”
For MSSPs looking to modernize their SOC operations, the Arctic Wolf-AWS collaboration represents a practical step forward. By unifying telemetry, expanding automation, and improving scalability, the partnership helps service providers deliver consistent, high-value security services across customer environments, while maintaining the flexibility and control needed to adapt to the threat landscape.
