The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has approved the AttackIQ Security Optimization Platform for purchase through Four Inc.'s GSA Federal Schedule.

With GSA's approval, government agencies can procure and access the Security Optimization Platform and use it to "enhance their cyber defenses more efficiently and effectively," AttackIQ said in a prepared statement.

AttackIQ Helps Government Agencies Test Their Security Posture

The Security Optimization Platform runs adversary emulations aligned to the MITRE ATT&CK framework, AttackIQ indicated. The platform allows government agencies to analyze adversary tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) and plan accordingly.

The Security Optimization Platform provides performance metrics that government agencies can use to find gaps in their security coverage, AttackIQ stated. The platform also enables government agencies to test their security programs and figure out the best ways to protect against cyber threats.

Jonathan Reiber, AttackIQ's vice president of Cybersecurity Strategy and Policy, commented on the Security Optimization Platform and how its impact on government agencies:

"AttackIQ empowers government agencies to test and validate their security controls in a continuous and automated fashion and with real-time performance data. By making this solution accessible through GSA, AttackIQ can better deliver cybersecurity solutions to federal clients in a timely and cost-effective manner."

More than a dozen U.S. government agencies and organizations currently use AttackIQ breach and attack simulation (BAS) products and solutions, the company said. These include three of the six U.S. military branches of service, customers in the legislative branch and intelligence community and several executive branch civilian agencies.

AttackIQ Adds Its Security Optimization Platform to the Microsoft Azure Marketplace

Previously, AttackIQ in April 2023 started offering its Security Optimization Platform to Microsoft Azure users. By doing so, Azure users can utilize the Security Optimization Platform to "take advantage of the scalability, reliability and agility of Azure to drive application development and shape business strategies," AttackIQ said.

Along with its Security Optimization Platform, AttackIQ provides its Ready! breach and attack simulation-as-a-service and other BAS products and solutions to global organizations. AttackIQ also offers a partner program for MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers.
