Barracuda Networks, a data protection and security solutions company, has accelerated its managed service provider (MSP) partner growth over the past few years.
Some of Barracuda's recent MSP partner milestones include:
- 280 percent international MSP partner growth over the past two years.
- 120 percent year-over-year growth in annualized recurring revenue for MSP solutions.
- 34 percent year-over-year increase in the number of MSPs using multiple Barracuda solutions.
Furthermore, the Barracuda "Ready, Set, Managed!" MSP and value-added reseller (VAR) educational and networking program posted 136 percent year-over-year growth. Barracuda's EMEA team also plans to host its second annual "MSP Day" to engage the company's MSP partners on May 23.
Barracuda Acquires Managed Workplace, PhishLine
Two recent acquisitions could accelerate Barracuda's MSP market growth, too.
Barracuda last month acquired Managed Workplace, Avast's MSP software platform. The company also became a master reseller of Avast Business CloudCare, Avast Management Console and Avast Antivirus Security solutions.
In addition, Barracuda in January purchased cybersecurity education software provider PhishLine for an undisclosed sum. Barracuda is integrating its security portfolio and artificial intelligence (AI) platform with PhishLine's aggregated data insights and training capabilities to provide organizations with AI-based targeted threat protection, data protection, gateway security and user awareness training.
Prior to the PhishLine acquisition, Barracuda launched its Managed PhishLine phishing simulation and security awareness training service last year. Managed PhishLine enables Barracuda's MSP partners to teach customers' employees how to identify and address cyberattacks.
