SafeBreach, a breach and attack simulation (BAS) platform company, has integrated with ServiceNow, providing organizations with "increased visibility into continuous security posture management," according to a prepared statement.
Integrations Improve Threat Assessment and Actions
The integrations allow organizations to use their existing workflow automation processes to identify and remediate threats and security gaps, SafeBreach said. They also let organizations populate details of attack simulation results into the ServiceNow Security Incident Response solution and use them to speed up incident response and remediation.
In addition, the integrations enable organizations to map threats to the MITRE ATT&CK framework, SafeBreach indicated. From here, organizations can evaluate their security posture, develop a security baseline and look for ways to improve this baseline moving forward.
SafeBreach Launches Threat Intelligence Collective, Names Worldwide Sales Leader
The ServiceNow integrations come after SafeBreach in January 2023 announced the Threat Intelligence Collective, which promotes the integration of SafeBreach's BAS platform with threat intelligence platforms and providers.
With the Threat Intelligence Collective, SafeBreach and its threat intelligence partners are working together to help security teams "ingest the latest threat intelligence, validate and visualize their exposure and prioritize remediation actions to prevent a breach," the company stated.
Threat intelligence providers that have joined the collective include:
- AT&T Cybersecurity
- Palo Alto Networks
Also, SafeBreach in January 2023 appointed Robert Freeman as its senior vice president of WorldwideSales. In this role, Freeman is responsible for leading SafeBreach "into its next stage of growth and predictability," the company said.
Previously, Freeman served as the company's vice president of Sales for the East Coast, Canada and Latin America. Freeman has more than 25 years of experience managing sales within security organizations and has held roles at cybersecurity companies FireEye (now Trellix), Imperva and SafeGuard Cyber.
Organizations can use SafeBreach's BAS platform to validate their security controls, the company noted. MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers can join SafeBreach's channel partner program to integrate this platform's capabilities into their offerings.
