Cisco Introduces SecureX Automated Workflows
In addition to its SASE announcement, Cisco has unveiled automated workflows for its SecureX integrated security platform.
SecureX automated workflows can help organizations accelerate threat detection and response, the company said. These workflows include SolarWinds supply chain attack, phishing investigations and threat investigations that use intel from the Cisco Talos threat intelligence team.
Meanwhile, SecureX automated workflows can reduce time to detect threats by 95 percent, Cisco stated. They also can speed up time to remediate threats by 85 percent.
Cisco previously upgraded SecureX in October 2020. At this time, Cisco incorporated extended detection and response (XDR), SASE and Zero Trust capabilities into SecureX.
