Beyon Cyber, a cybersecurity and security testing company, has announced plans to acquire a majority stake in cybersecurity advisory, consulting and engineering firm DTS Solution.

This is technology M&A deal number 143 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2023.

Beyon, founded in 2022, is based in Hamala, Kingdom of Bahrain. The company has 23 employees listed on LinkedIn. Beyon's areas of expertise include cyber assurance, cyber defense and cyber engineering.

DTS, founded in 2011, is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company has 56 employees listed on LinkedIn. DTS's areas of expertise include network and infrastructure security, endpoint protection and zero trust.

What the DTS Acquisition Means for Beyon

DTS supports Beyon's strategic plans to bolster its cybersecurity offerings, the companies stated. It helps Beyon deliver cybersecurity products and services that address global organizations' security needs.

In addition, DTS represents "a major step in Beyon's wider regional expansion strategy," Beyon Chief Digital Growth Officer Shaikh Mohamed said. DTS enables Beyon to provide additional cybersecurity capabilities to organizations across the Middle East region. It also supports Beyon's goal to become a "global cybersecurity player," Mohamed indicated.

Beyon Partners with MDR Provider

The DTS news comes after Beyon in December 2022 signed an exclusive partnership with managed detection and response (MDR) services provider Expel at the Arab International Cybersecurity Summit (AICS). Beyon now provides Expel's MDR services to organizations across the Middle East, the company noted.

Beyon is a division of the Beyon Group, which owns and operates companies across cybersecurity, financial services, IT and other sectors. It has 14 years of experience in cyber operations and manages 16 security operations centers (SOCs) globally.

Meanwhile, Beyon offers a partner program. It also has established partnerships with Expel, Fortinet and other cybersecurity companies.
