Cylance Consulting Intros GDPR Assessments

Share

Cylance's consulting arm now offers European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) assessments.

Organizations can use Cylance's GDPR assessments to review their data security measures and comply with regulatory requirements, according to the company. Also, organizations can work with Cylance consultants to identify security gaps and optimize their cybersecurity technologies and personnel.

In addition to introducing GDPR assessments, Cylance this week integrated automated incident response playbooks into its CylanceOPTICS endpoint detection and response (EDR) solution.

CylanceOPTICS's incident response playbooks execute on an endpoint where a threat is detected, the company noted. They also can be set up to execute both CylanceOPTICS and third-party product responses and replicate security analyst decision-making without cloud or human intervention.

Organizations can create up to 100 CylanceOPTICS incident response playbooks to automatically execute tasks on endpoints when a detection rule is triggered, the company indicated. That way, organization can use these playbooks to automate security processes and procedures and streamline incident response across all departments.
