Deloitte Hong Kong Embraces Qualys VMDR, EDR Cybersecurity Services

Share

Deloitte Hong Kong will leverage Qualys for various managed security services in the region. The Deloitte Hong Kong services will tap Qualys for VMDR (Vulnerability Management, Detection and Response) and Multi-Vector EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) offerings via the Deloitte Hong Kong Cyber service.

Parent Deloitte is a Top 250 MSSP and a Top 250 Public Cloud MSP, according to MSSP Alert and ChannelE2E research for 2020.

VMDR automates the vulnerability management cycle across on-premises, endpoints, cloud, mobile, containers, OT and Internet of Things (IoT) environments, Qualys said. In doing so, VMDR enables organizations to discover, assess, prioritize and patch security vulnerabilities in real time.

Multi-Vector EDR provides context and visibility across the cyberattack chain, Qualys noted. It allows organizations to use a single agent to perform various security functions on endpoints

In addition to VMDR and Multi-Vector EDR, Qualys plans to launch a Next-Gen Analytics and Incident Response solution that will enable Deloitte Hong Kong customers to integrate and correlate security telemetry across their security stack, the company indicated. This solution will integrate Qualys and third-party security products into a security incident and response platform that offers user and asset behavior profiling and analytics, threat hunting and intelligence and out-of-the-box support for MITRE ATT&CK detection use cases.

Qualys Begins Beta Testing of XDR Cybersecurity Service

The Deloitte Hong Kong partnership comes after Qualys this month began beta testing an XDR (extended detection and response) cybersecurity service. Furthermore, Qualys recently hosted its annual security conference; this year's event was held virtually from November 9 to November 24.

Qualys provides IT, security and compliance solutions to more than 15,700 customers worldwide. The company also continues to explore ways to extend its MSSP partnerships, CEO Philippe Courtot said during Qualys's third-quarter earnings call.
