Deloitte, which operates a Top 250 MSSP, and Palo Alto Networks together are delivering threat detection, 5G security and other managed security solutions to global organizations. The companies previously announced a managed security services partnership in July 2021.

The newly expanded their managed security services partnership, announced in May 2022, spans:

  • Cyber 5G: Offers 5G security blueprints and protection across applications, end-users, networks and wireless devices.
  • Managed Cyber Defense: Consists of Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Cloud and Prisma Cloud Compute cloud security solutions and Deloitte's OpenCloud cloud management solution to help organizations detect and prevent threats and automate their security operations.
  • Multicloud Automation and Orchestration: Combines Deloitte's Cloud Security offering with Prisma Cloud to provide organizations with security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) and cloud security capabilities.
  • Zero Trust Enterprise Enablement: Leverages Palo Alto Networks' security technologies to help organizations adopt a zero trust security framework.

MSSPs and managed detection and response (MDR) providers can integrate these solutions into their service offerings. In doing so, they can help organizations address evolving cyber threats, the companies noted.

Deloitte Launches Cloud Security Management Platform, MXDR Services

The new Deloitte-Palo Alto Networks managed security offerings come after Deloitte in May 2022 launched its Cloud Security Management (CSM) platform. Organizations can use the CSM platform to gain visibility into their cloud applications and workloads in Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and other public clouds on their own or in multi-cloud environments, Deloitte indicated.

Along with the CSM platform, Deloitte in January 2022 released its Managed eXtended Detection and Response (MXDR) services. Organizations can use these services for threat hunting, prevention, detection, incident response and remediation, the company said.

Deloitte helps organizations plan and execute cybersecurity strategies. It provides application security, data and privacy and other cybersecurity solutions.
