Digital Guardian, a data loss prevention (DLP) software provider, has raised $30 million in a financing round led by private equity investor LLR Partners. The company will use the funding to bolster its Data Protection Platform.
In addition, Digital Guardian has announced the following executive hires:
- Constance Stack as Chief Strategy Officer and CMO: Stack will lead Digital Guardian's global marketing team. She originally joined Digital Guardian as its CMO in 2013.
- Debra Danielson as CTO and SVP of Engineering: Danielson is responsible for managing Digital Guardian's technical vision and overseeing the company's day-to-day engineering operations. She previously served as SVP for merger and acquisition strategy at CA Technologies.
- Ben Cody as SVP of Product Management: Cody leads product strategy for Digital Guardian’s product and service lines. He most recently served as VP of Product Management at McAfee.
Furthermore, Digital Guardian in February appointed former CA executive Mordecai Rosen as its CEO. Rosen is expected to help Digital Guardian grow its DLP business and extend its push into the endpoint detection and response (EDR) space, the company said.
