eMazzanti Technologies, an MSSP, has launched Cyber-Security Cloud, a cybersecurity services offering built on the WatchGuard Cloud platform.
Cyber-Security Cloud offers a variety of security capabilities, including:
- Automated Alerts and Notifications: Allows users to configure alerts and notifications across all security applications.
- Account Management: Enables eMazzanti to create and onboard any number and type of customer accounts and separate data between tenants and role-based access to information.
- Reporting and Visibility: Employs more than 100 dashboards and reports to help users identify network security threats, issues and trends.
Cyber-Security Cloud provides centralized management of security applications, eMazzanti said. In doing so, it enhances eMazzanti's ability to deliver differentiated services to its customers.
Introducing WatchGuard Cloud
WatchGuard this week unveiled WatchGuard Cloud, which enables MSPs to centralize security management and reporting.
WatchGuard Cloud simplifies how MSPs protect their customers, the company said. It allows MSPs to create and manage an unlimited number of customer accounts, launch new WatchGuard appliances, manage and deploy WatchGuard applications and gain insights into customer networks.
WatchGuard: MSP Software Integrations?
Among the key questions MSPs will likely ask: Does WatchGuard Cloud integrate with PSA (Professional Services Automation) and RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) software platforms that MSPs frequently use for business management?
The answer is largely yes. According to Himanshu Verma, director of product management at WatchGuard:
"WatchGuard's Firebox network security appliance integrates directly with PSA and RMM platforms via APIs to synchronize WatchGuard security asset information, auto generate service tickets with closed-loop ticketing of system, security, and subscription events and deliver on-demand security service reports. PSA integrations include ConnectWise, Autotask and TigerPaw. and RMM integrations include SolarWinds, Auvik, Kaseya, Logicnow and others."
Another key question: Does the platform integrate with any backup and disaster recovery (BDR) systems, particularly for ransomware recovery if such an attack slips by the initial WatchGuard network security?
According to Verma:
"WatchGuard is currently actively engaged with BDR systems to provide layered security for data continuity and security of data backups and restores. WatchGuard's goal is to ensure MSSPs can layer security starting with appropriate network segmentation as well as providing enterprise-grade security at the network layer where the data travels to and from the BDR solutions."
