Entro and Wiz Partner to Strengthen Non-Human Identity Security with Cloud Data Risk Context

A recent study has found a significant gap between perceived risk and the actual safeguarding of sensitive data. Read more

Entro Security and Wiz have launched a new integration that brings together non-human identity (NHI) management and data security posture insights. The collaboration helps organizations better understand how machine identities—such as service accounts, automation tools, and exposed keys—interact with sensitive data across cloud environments.

With the continued shift to cloud, enterprises are managing a growing number of NHIs, many of which operate with broad or unnecessary access. At the same time, security teams often lack visibility into how these identities relate to sensitive assets. The Entro-Wiz integration addresses this challenge by linking identity risk signals from Entro with Wiz’s classification of sensitive data, helping teams prioritize remediation efforts more effectively.

Mapping Exposed Credentials to Sensitive Data

The integration allows security teams to take specific action when risks are detected. For example, if Entro identifies a publicly exposed cloud access key, Wiz provides the necessary context to determine whether the key has access to regulated data such as PCI, PHI, or PII within cloud services like S3, RDS, or Lambda. Based on this insight, teams can adjust permissions, revoke credentials, or initiate further investigation. The platform also helps surface non-human identities that are over-permissioned, dormant, or orphaned. Entro’s identity lineage mapping, combined with Wiz’s data classification, gives teams a clearer understanding of how machine identities connect to cloud workloads and what level of risk they present.

Value for MSSPs and Security Teams

Managed security service providers can apply this integration to deliver more targeted incident response and compliance support for clients operating in regulated industries. The combined platform enables a more contextual view of cloud risk—linking identity behavior with data classification—to support timely remediation and policy enforcement. The integration can also help MSSPs streamline their operations by reducing manual investigation steps and standardizing how identity-related risks are addressed across cloud accounts.

The Entro-Wiz integration is available to joint customers through the Wiz Integration Network (WIN) and provides an option for security teams and service providers to coordinate identity and data risk efforts more closely within existing cloud workflows.
