ESET is releasing a new all-in-one product portfolio called Protect, aimed at improving client cybersecurity postures and outcomes as artificial intelligence increases the volume and complexity of attacks, according to a recent report by CRN.
The ESET Protect portfolio is designed to help solution providers scale and remain profitable by offering cybersecurity as a service, with tiered options including Protect Core, Protect Premium, and Protect Ultimate. These tiers provide varying levels of security, from baseline protection against ransomware and phishing to advanced managed detection and response (MDR) and threat-hunting capabilities. Each tier can be enhanced with Plus packages for email security, multifactor authentication, vulnerability management, and employee training.
ESET emphasizes native innovation in AI security, aiming to prevent data uploads to unauthorized AI chatbots and monitor AI agents for suspicious behavior. The vendor's research identified thousands of malicious AI skills, highlighting the need for robust security measures. ESET is utilizing seat-based pricing rather than tokenization for its services, leveraging its long-standing expertise in AI security dating back to 1997.
