Google Cloud partners will soon be able to use the company's Security AI Workbench platform to integrate generative artificial intelligence into their products, according to a prepared statement.

The company announced Security AI Workbench this week at the 2023 RSA Conference in San Francisco, California.

Security AI Workbench combines Google Cloud's Sec-PaLM large language model (LLM) with Mandiant threat intelligence, the companies said. Google Cloud partners can integrate with the platform via an API to provide threat intelligence, workflows and other functions to their customers.

In addition, Security AI Workbench offers data isolation, data protection, sovereignty and compliance capabilities, Google Cloud noted. It also lets customers make their private data available to the platform at inference time (the amount of time that a machine learning model needs to process new data and make predictions).

Commenting on Security AI Workbench and what it means for his company's partners, Sunil Potti, Google Cloud's vice president and general manager of security, said:

"Google Cloud remains fundamentally committed to growing its open cloud ecosystem, ensuring that customers on any cloud platform can protect their businesses with the industry's most advanced security tools. With Mandiant, we can now build end-to-end security programs that unify our leading threat intelligence and technology with the capabilities of our partners, providing customers with comprehensive solutions that are tailored to their security needs."

Google Cloud will roll out Security AI Workbench in the coming months, the company stated. Also, Accenture, which has a Top 250 MSSP division, will be the first partner to utilize Security AI Workbench.

Google Cloud Helps Accenture Deliver MXDR, Brings Identity and Device Management to Google Workspace

Along with unveiling Security AI Workbench at the 2023 RSA Conference, Google Cloud reported that Accenture will provide a managed eXtended detection and response (MXDR) security service enhanced by Google Cloud technologies. This service leverages Chronicle security operations and Mandiant intelligence and consulting offerings. It is backed by Accenture specialists with expertise in building security programs, according to Google Cloud.

Furthermore, Google Workspace is adding identity and device management support from Okta and VMware. This enables organizations to adopt FedRAMP-authorized collaboration solutions in a single offering, Google Cloud stated.

Mandiant Unveils the Next Phase of Its Cyber Alliance Program

The Mandiant partner ecosystem is growing, as Google Cloud announced at the 2023 RSA Conference that Corelight, Nozomi Networks, SentinelOne and SnapAttack are expanding their capabilities through the company's Cyber Alliance program integrations and offerings. This enables Mandiant's security experts to "offer the most comprehensive security solutions to customers and help them proactively defend against threats critical to their organization," Google Cloud indicated.

Meanwhile, CrowdStrike announced the general availability of CrowdStrike Falcon for Mandiant Incident Response at the RSA Conference. CrowdStrike Falcon for Mandiant Incident Response operationalizes endpoint detection to help organizations stop and defend against data breaches, the companies said.
