Beyond will provide HelpSystems customers with vulnerability detection across their networks, applications, endpoints and cloud environments, HelpSystems CEO Aviram Jenik said. It also bolsters HelpSystems's security and automation solution stack and allows the company to enhance its vulnerability detection capabilities.

A Closer Look at Beyond

Beyond helps organizations assess security weaknesses in networks, applications, industrial systems and networked software, the company said. It offers the following security products:

  • beSECURE: Vulnerability management solution with automation capabilities and one-click integrations
  • beSOURCE: Static application security testing (SAST) solution that combines code vulnerability analysis with software development
  • beSTORM: Black box testing solution that lets users identify and evaluate code weaknesses across software and hardware

In addition, Beyond offers a partner program for MSPs and MSSPs. The program enables MSPs and MSSPs to use Beyond's technology to deliver website scanning and network vulnerability assessment services.

HelpSystems Acquires Digital Defense, Vera

Along with Beyond, HelpSystems in February 2021 acquired Digital Defense, a vulnerability assessment and management solutions provider. HelpSystems has integrated Digital Defense's security offerings into its portfolio.

Furthermore, HelpSystems in December 2020 purchased data protection platform provider Vera. HelpSystems will leverage Vera's platform to extend its data security portfolio and find ways to help its customers protect their data throughout its lifecycle, the company noted.

HelpSystems delivers cybersecurity and automation software to help organizations simplify IT processes. The company also provides managed security services that allow organizations to identify cyber threats and avoid configuration issues.
