ID Technologies, a federal IT solutions provider backed by private equity firm The Acacia Group, has acquired data protection company Attila Security. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

A Closer Look at Attila
Attila, founded in 2018, raised $2.5 million in Series A funding in 2020. The company develops the GoSilent Platform, which provides secure data access globally, the seller stated.
GoSilent can be used to secure Internet of Things (IoT) networks, devices and systems, Attila indicated. It leverages a National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Certified Hardware Encryptor for secure communications.
Also, GoSilent creates an end-to-end encrypted link between end-user devices and enterprise or tactical servers, Attila noted. In doing so, the platform secures federal agency networks for remote access and enables remote workers to access classified and sensitive data without revealing their identity to third parties.

Attila strengthens ID's position in the CSfC solutions market, the company stated. It also enhances the performance and scalability of the Archon solutions suite.
Furthermore, the Attila acquisition highlights ID's commitment to investing in CSfC and product innovations focused on mobile device and mission-platform security, the company stated. It creates new opportunities for ID customers to securely access classified data from any location, at any time.
