Decypher Technologies Inc., ranked No. 208 on MSSP Alert’s Top 250 MSSPs list, is a Glenwood Springs, Colorado-based company specializing in cybersecurity, managed and concierge IT services, and cellular distributed antenna systems (DAS).

Decypher Doubles Staff

Decypher CEO Farr Shepherd founded the company in 2003 that today has grown to 62 employees. More recently, when Covid dramatically changed how and where people work, Decypher adapted as well. As Shepherd explained:

He emphasized that hiring remote staff in multiple time zones to support clients 24 hours a day, defining our cybersecurity assessments, and investing in cybersecurity tools/staff were among the company’s smartest business moves in 2022.

A Closer Look at Decypher’s Business

Decypher Technologies’ cybersecurity solutions take a "proactive a strategic approach to threat and risk reduction," according to the company. Accordingly, the company develops a security plan for each client’s tech environment, which addresses specific outcomes unique to a business’ needs.

Additionally, Decypher’s managed services help ensure that a client's technology assets are fully available and performing optimally at all times. And its cellular services enable clients to enjoy coverage in the comfort of their home or office where none was previously available. Customers deploy Decypher’s DAS to improve cellular and radio coverage in buildings and for boosting cellular coverage where cell signal is weak or nonexistent, the company explained.

Decypher also helps its clients stay compliant with automated reporting and correcting using its assessment tools. As data is collected, Decypher’s specialized network tools automatically generate required documentation for compliance, including industry specific IT risk assessment.
