Nuspire, a Top 250 MSSP, has hired J.R. Cunningham as its chief security officer. Cunningham will lead the Nuspire Security Program and explore ways to enhance and scale the company's security operations, according to a prepared statement.
The Cunningham hire comes after Nuspire in May 2021 unveiled its myNuspire security operating system.
myNuspire provides organizations with a self-service, technology-agnostic single pane of glass for security program management, the company noted. It includes threat modeling and security program situational awareness tools that provide organizations with cybersecurity intelligence, insights and recommendations.
In addition to myNuspire, organizations can use the Nuspire Security Program to build, maintain and improve their security program over time. The Nuspire Security Program allows organizations to leverage threat modeling to examine the current state of their security program and receive program recommendations, the company indicated.
