Secure access service edge (SASE) company Netskope has integrated its Borderless SD-WAN and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) solutions into the Zoom unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) platform.
In doing so, organizations can use Netskope and Zoom technologies to improve the end-user experience across Zoom Meeting, Zoom Phone and Zoom Room and comply with privacy and security regulations, according to a prepared statement.
What Borderless SD-Wan Does
Borderless SD-WAN identifies and prioritizes Zoom Meeting, Zoom Phone and Zoom Room connectors and improves network performance, Netskope said. The solution prioritizes traffic and minimizes latency, jitter and loss to deliver a consistent quality of experience. It also ensures that organizations can maintain a consistent level of application performance without compromising payload security.
Meanwhile, the Netskope SSPM integration with Zoom APIs provides organizations with visibility and insights into their configuration settings, compliance status and security posture, Netskope indicated.
Netskope SSPM supports various rules and compliance standards out of the box and lets users add custom rules based on the data that Netskope gathers about connected Zoom accounts. Furthermore, compliance administrators can modify and deploy policies to detect violations based on GDPR, HIPAA and other security benchmarks and standards.
Netskope Partners with Stellar Cyber, Orange Business Services
The Zoom partnership comes after Stellar Cyber, a Top 250 MSSP, integrated its open eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform into Netskope's platform in December 2022. MSSPs can use Stellar Cyber Open XDR to ingest, normalize and analyze Netskope data to identify potential threats, the companies indicated.
Previously, Orange Business Services in September 2022 began working with Netskope to deliver a security service edge (SSE) solution embedded into the Orange Telco Cloud Platform. The solution allows Telco Cloud Platform users to use Netskope Intelligent SSE to access security data and protect their applications, cloud services and websites against cyber threats, the companies noted.
Netskope offers cloud, data and network security products and solutions. MSSPs and MSPs can join Netskope's Evolve Partner Program to integrate these products and solutions into their portfolios.
