Phosphorus Cybersecurity, an extended Internet of Things (xIoT) security company, has announced a distribution partnership with Concept Data.

The Concept Data partnership expands Phosphorus' European presence, allowing the company to provide xIoT security technology to European organizations, the companies said. In addition, Phosphorus and Concept Data together deliver xIoT security solutions across the European Union.

Phosphorus Explores xIoT Partnerships

The Concept Data pact comes after Phosphorus in October 2022 partnered with MSSP Mission Critical Systems (MCS). With the partnership, MCS has incorporated Phosphorus' xIoT attack surface management platform into its security solutions, Phosphorus director of North American Channels Kal Gajera said. It also serves as a value-added reseller (VAR) for Phosphorus and provides xIoT security solutions to help U.S. organizations protect their IoT, OT and network devices against cyberattacks.

Phosphorus in September 2022 partnered with cybersecurity company EverSec Group Inc. Like MCS, EverSec serves as a VAR for Phosphorus in the U.S. market.

A Closer Look at Phosphorus' xIoT Platform

Phosphorus provides xIoT technology that "automates the remediation of the biggest IoT, OT and network device vulnerabilities, the company said.

Organizations can use Phosphorus' Extended Enterprise XIoT Security Platform, which provides automated, agentless visibility, patching and credential management across an organization's xIoT devices, the company stated.

The platform's features include:

  • Asset Discovery identifies all xIoT devices across an organization.
  • Credential Hardening automatically and periodically rotates credentials on an organization's xIoT devices to keep them in compliance with industry mandates.
  • Patch Management enables an organization's security team to upgrade its firmware for all xIoT devices with the click of a button.

MSSPs and MSPs can join Phosphorus' partner program to integrate the company's xIoT platform into their offerings. Along with MCS and EverSec, Phosphorus' partners include Optiv, a security solutions integrator and Top 250 MSSP, and cybersecurity services company Defy Security.

Phosphorus in February 2022 raised $38 million in Series A funding led by venture capital firms SYN Ventures and MassMutual Ventures. It looks poised to continue to explore ways to expand globally.
