Radware has expanded its
AI SOC Xpert platform with new capabilities designed to help SOCs and MSSPs operate with better context, precision, and automation. The update extends coverage beyond DDoS to include bot attacks and introduces broader agentic AI capabilities that automate investigation, remediation, and policy optimization across multiple environments.
Shira Sagiv, VP of Portfolio Marketing at Radware, told MSSP Alert that the platform’s evolution reflects a deeper integration of reasoning and guided decision-making into the heart of SOC workflows.
“Radware’s AI SOC Xpert goes beyond an assistive-based solution by embedding reasoning, learning, and guided decision-making into every stage of SOC operations,” Sagiv explained. “In contrast to many tools that focus on providing quick and easy access to data and information, Radware’s AI SOC Xpert can provide recommendations and also take action to resolve incidents in a more automated and efficient manner to lower the MTTR. It reconstructs complete attack stories, visualizes how threats evolve, and applies the same agentic AI logic across DDoS, on-prem, and application protection.”
From Reactive to Proactive SOC Operations
Less than a year after launch, AI SOC Xpert has grown into a broader, more connected system spanning Application Protection, On-Premise DDoS, and Cloud DDoS defenses. It now adds context at every step - reconstructing timelines, surfacing root causes, and turning raw incident data into a clear story that analysts can act on faster.
Instead of reacting to alerts as they come, SOC teams can use AI SOC Xpert to study “peacetime” traffic and set filters in advance, tightening defenses before an attack even starts. Over time, the system learns from traffic patterns, incidents, and analyst decisions, sharpening its accuracy and reducing the noise that leads to fatigue. The result is faster investigations, cleaner insights, and a measurable drop in mean time to resolution.
Keeping Humans in Control
As AI-driven systems become more autonomous, oversight remains critical. Sagiv emphasized that Radware’s approach to automation is built on human-in-the-loop design.
“AI SOC Xpert is built for human-in-the-loop control. Analysts always see the full context and impact of recommendations before applying them,” she said. “The system supports both analyst-approved and automated modes with rollback options, and provides full transparency through dashboards that explain each recommendation. This design keeps humans in charge while enabling faster, safer automation.”
How MSSPs Benefit
For MSSPs, the update presents an opportunity to unify detection and response workflows across multiple client environments.
Sagiv noted that AI SOC Xpert helps providers enhance service delivery and communication.
“MSSPs can use AI SOC Xpert to unify incident management across multiple environments, reduce investigation time by up to 20X, and proactively prepare defenses before attacks start,” she said. “Guided AI workflows elevate junior analysts’ performance, while visual, AI-generated reports improve client communication. This helps MSSPs deliver faster, more predictive, and efficient protection for their customers.”
With its expanded scope, AI SOC Xpert is shifting from a reactive investigation tool to a reasoning system that helps SOCs and MSSPs anticipate, interpret, and act on threats in real time. It blends human oversight with agentic automation, allowing AI to handle scale and speed while keeping analysts in control. The result isn’t hands-off security - it’s a smarter partnership between people and machines, built to strengthen SOC efficiency and make AI adoption safer and more deliberate.
