The Skout platform enables MSPs to deliver a variety of cybersecurity products to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), including:

  • Email Protection: Uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to block spam and phishing attacks.
  • Endpoint Protection: Leverages AI to block malware infections and provides security controls to protect organizations against script-based, fileless, memory and external device-based attacks.
  • Security Monitoring: Provides a managed security information and event management (SIEM) offering.

Skout also provides a partner program designed to help MSPs deliver advanced security tools, threat intelligence feeds and around-the-clock security monitoring.

Skout Appoints Datto Vet As Chief Revenue Officer

In addition to its Series B funding, Skout in June hired Datto veteran Mike Hanauer as its chief revenue officer. News about the Hanauer hire surfaced at DattoCon19 in San Diego.

In this role, Hanauer oversees Skout's channel sales strategy, according to Skout. Hanauer is focused on MSP relationships that drive small and midsize customer engagements, and he could help Skout accelerate its market growth.
