Skyhigh Security, a security service edge (SSE) provider, has unwrapped a new global partner program for value-added resellers, distributors, strategic integrators and managed service providers.

Skyhigh's Investment Strategy

Skyhigh’s Security Altitude Partner Program provides channel partners with incentives, tools and information to boost margins and profits, the company said. The San Jose, California data security specialist said it has made a “major investment” into the program with the goal of helping partners to support “rapid digital business transformation and hybrid work environments.”

The program includes back-end rebates, deal registration, a dedicated partner portal and a "vow to remain 100% dedicated to channel sales." It’s the first partner program Skyhigh has put together under its own name since its split with McAfee last year.

As Scott Goree, Skyhigh’s vice president of worldwide sales, explained:

“This launch demonstrates our commitment to the channel and how our relationship with partners is one of mutual interdependence. We are 100% committed to building positive relationships with resellers, treating sales opportunities with fairness to the partner and fostering a relationship based on mutual trust and respect.”

Security Service Edge Market Emphasis

Partners will be at the center of Skyhigh’s go-to-market strategy to capture the security service edge market, which Skyhigh said researcher Gartner pegs at roughly $2.5 billion in 2020 with projected growth of about 20% year over year.

The program runs on a unified platform by Channel Mechanics that includes a full range of deal registration protection procedures and three tiers of participation — Registered, Essential and Advanced. To achieve these tiers, partners use the platform to arrange training for their staff at Skydiver University — a new online sales certification training tool designed by Skyhigh to educate and help partners unlock additional benefits.

The Altitude program is where partners register deals, arrange for training and support and monitor all elements of their Skyhigh Security relationship, including rebates. The company commits to its partners that the platform will be reliable and that it will be the foundation for future partner program enhancements.
