Sophos has launched Sophos Rapid Response, a remote incident response service that identifies and neutralizes cyberattacks over the course of a 45-day period, according to a prepared statement.

It's a safe bet Sophos will position Rapid Response for MSP and MSSP (managed security services provider) partners, considering the Thoma Bravo-owned company focuses so heavily on service providers as partners.

Managed Threat Response (MTR): How It Works

Indeed, Rapid Response is part of the Sophos Managed Threat Response (MTR) team that provides fully managed threat hunting, detection and response services, Sophos said. It provides access to a 24/7 team of incident responders, threat hunters and threat analysts who can help organizations stop cyberattacks.

Also, Rapid Response delivers threat investigation reports that detail discoveries made, actions taken and other remediation recommendations, Sophos stated. In doing so, Rapid Response helps organizations understand cyberattacks and what assets were compromised and what data was accessed and exfiltrated during these attacks.

Rapid Response is now available with a fixed pricing model based on an organization's number of users and servers.

Sophos: MSP Billings Up 56% Year Over Year

In addition to its Rapid Response launch, Sophos earlier this month reported growth across its MSP business.

Sophos supports more than 12,500 global and regional MSPs worldwide via its MSP Connect partner program, the company noted. This represents a 30 percent year-over-year increase since the start of the company's fiscal year in April 2020.

Furthermore, Sophos increased its MSP billings 56 percent year over year, the company stated. The company recorded its most significant year-over-year MSP billings growth in the Americas, Western Europe, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Sophos sells its cybersecurity products and services via its global channel of more than 53,000 partners and MSPs. The company's cybersecurity solutions are used to protect more than 400,000 organizations worldwide against cyberattacks.
