StrikeForce Buys Cybersecurity Risk Solutions (CRS)

StrikeForce Technologies, an endpoint protection and out-of-band authentication solutions provider, has acquired data security company Cybersecurity Risk Solutions (CRS) for an undisclosed sum.

CRS will operate as a subsidiary of StrikeForce and founder Will Lynch will join the company as its director of channel distribution.

The CRS acquisition strengthens StrikeForce's channel distribution strategy, the company said. It enables StrikeForce to provide new cyber solutions for mitigating security risks.

CRS has worked with StrikeForce since 2016, Lynch stated. It will continue to explore ways to bring its cybersecurity services and tools to channel distributors.

What Is CRS?

CRS combines "pre-breach" commercial cyber services with risk mitigation tools, the company stated. In doing so, CRS helps organizations reduce cyber exposure and mitigate contingent risks.

In addition, CRS offers keystroke protection backed by patented military-grade technology, the company noted. It helps end-users safeguard their keystroke data at the point of origin (the keyboard) and securely deliver this information to an application or browser.

CRS also promotes cyber wellness and online safety. It provides dark web intelligence monitoring, security training and awareness and other cyber wellness and online safety services.

What Does the CRS Acquisition Mean for StrikeForce and Its Customers?

CRS improves StrikeForce's ability to deliver data protection technology to its customers, StrikeForce CEO Mark Kay stated. It enhances StrikeForce's portfolio offerings and capabilities and allows the company to deliver new cyber mitigation tools.
