Thales and Kyndryl are combining their cybersecurity capabilities to offer a security incident management solution to French organizations, according to the companies.

Together, Thales and Kyndryl are providing their joint customers with cyber threat prevention and remediation capabilities that promote "an agile response tailored to each situation," the companies indicated.

Bridging the Gap Between Cyber Threat Prevention and Remediation

With the partnership, Kyndryl customers can access Thales' Rapid Response Force for incident response, the companies said. Rapid Response Force coordinates incident response with Kyndryl's post-incident management teams to help organizations minimize downtime and accelerate recovery.

In addition, Thales customers can leverage Kyndryl's cyber resilience and incident recovery capabilities, the companies noted. They also can use Kyndryl's cyber resilience solutions to mitigate cyberattacks and speed up incident recovery in hybrid cloud environments.

Thales and Kyndryl Continue to Explore Partnership Opportunities

The Kyndryl partnership comes after Thales in August 2023 announced a generative artificial intelligence pact with Google Cloud. Thales and Google Cloud are helping organizations use generative AI to automate tasks and secure their data, the companies said.

Meanwhile, Kyndryl in August expanded its partnership with Cisco. Kyndryl has integrated Cisco's network software, hardware and equipment into its cyber resilience framework to help organizations address and respond to cyber incidents, the companies noted. It also is allowing its customers to use the Cisco Security Cloud platform to reduce their attack surfaces.

MSSPs and MSPs Can Partner with Thales and Kyndryl

Thales offers the Accelerate Partner Network, which allows MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers to integrate its identity and data protection solutions into their portfolios. This program empowers technology providers to use these solutions to "help customers adapt their business and security needs to meet the challenges of cloud, mobility and escalating threats," Thales stated.

Kyndryl has an ecosystem of partners in place. Along with Thales and Cisco, Kyndryl has established partnerships with Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other technology providers. Kyndryl also offers various engagement modes with service partners.
