Threat Intelligence Partnership: Criminal IP Integrates Cisco XDR

Criminal IP has built the Cisco SecureX eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform into its AI-based cyber threat intelligence (CTI) search engine.

In doing so, Criminal IP and Cisco together will help organizations "deter malicious actors by providing a comprehensive solution for threat analysis and risk assessment," the businesses said.

What MSSPs Need to Know About the Criminal IP-Cisco Integration

Criminal IP uses threat intelligence to offer the latest data on online assets as a contributing tool in SecureX, the business said. The Criminal IP-SecureX integration also allows users to investigate and assess risks through Criminal IP's API and access contextualized data that provides insights into the relationships between assets. The integration provides users with real-time insights and risk scoring for their IP addresses and domains.

How the Criminal IP-SecureX integration Works

Criminal IP displays information about organizations' IP addresses and domains, the company stated. Meanwhile, users can leverage SecureX 's investigate search function in conjunction with Criminal IP. This provides users with summaries of threat information for searched assets, including reasons for their classification as malicious.

Users can access a link to SecureX search results of an asset within the Criminal IP user interface, the businesses said. This provides IP address information on open ports, vulnerabilities and exposures, phishing scores, abuse history of domains and other security insights. From here, organizations can use these insights to identify and mitigate potential threats.

A Closer Look at Criminal IP

Criminal IP is a CTI search engine run by AI Spera. The engine was launched in April 2023 and lets users search for information on assets connected to the public internet. It is available in five languages to users around the world.

Along with its CTI search engine, Criminal IP provides other cybersecurity solutions, including:

  • Criminal IP Attack Surface Management (ASM)
  • Criminal IP Fraud Detection System (FDS)
  • Criminal IP SecOps (for IP address threat intelligence-based security operations)

Criminal IP offers a partner program for corporations, institutions and government agencies. It is also recruiting MSSPs and other technology providers to join its partner program.
