Nehemiah Risk Quantifier has been rebranded as ThreatConnect Risk Qualifier (RQ), and aligns with ThreatConnect’s existing Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) capabilities, the buyer says.
With CRQ, TIP and SOAR capabilities combined, ThreatConnect unifies the actions of the security team around key risks, supports their response with streamlined and automated workflows and strengthens the entire security ecosystem through technology integrations, the buyer asserts.
ThreatConnect, based in Arlington, Virginia, has partner programs that support technology integrations, channel partners and managed security services providers (MSSPs). Key MSSP partners include Infosys, Presidio, eSentire, A3Sec, and BT -- many of which rank among the world's Top 200 MSSPs.

Nehemiah Security executives were not quoted in the M&A announcement. Headcount figures and Nehemiah staff transition plans to ThreatConnect also were not disclosed in the M&A announcement.
ThreatConnect: Recent Business, Partner Milestones
ThreatConnect has taken multiple steps to round out its security platform for partners and customers. Recent moves include:
- April 2020: ThreatConnect users gained direct access to PolySwarm, a crowdsourced threat detection tool, that enables better detection against new and emerging malware. Cyber analysts using ThreatConnect’s Security Operations Platform can download and operate the tool from a single pane of glass.
- March 2020: Sixgill joined the ThreatConnect Developer Partner Program. Cyber intelligence analysts using ThreatConnect’s security operations platform can trial and purchase Sixgill threat intelligence feeds to gain better insights on vulnerabilities, the company says.
- February 2020: SlashNext, a provider of real-time anti-phishing and incident response solutions, has joined the ThreatConnect Developer Partner Program.
ThreatConnect has been in rapid growth mode. The company has grown nearly 200 percent over the past three years, according to the Inc. 5000 list for 2020.
