Tufin Launches TOS Discovery for Automated Network Topology Mapping and Real-Time Device Visibility

Tufin’s has launched TOS Discovery to tackle outdated network maps that create blind spots, weakening security and delaying response. TOS Discovery automates device discovery and real-time topology mapping—giving security teams the visibility they need to act faster and enforce policies.

TOS Discovery is the latest addition to the Tufin Orchestration Suite. It provides automated onboarding and mapping of network devices, particularly Cisco routers and switches, to ensure always-accurate topology across hybrid environments. This eliminates the need for scripted bulk additions, manual documentation, and third-party service engagements. Teams can group devices by IP range, credentials, or type, enabling scalable topology maintenance that adjusts as the environment evolves.

Real-time topology data reduces mean time to resolution (MTTR) by helping teams quickly identify dependencies and resolve issues. The solution also supports proactive threat prevention by ensuring that vulnerabilities are detected and addressed before they impact operations. By removing the manual grind of keeping topology current, TOS Discovery accelerates onboarding, improves SLA compliance, and lowers risk.

TOS Discovery works through automated SNMP scans to identify unmanaged network devices, automatically grouping and onboarding them into the topology. Built directly into the Tufin platform, it requires no additional infrastructure and supports scheduled updates at customer-defined intervals to maintain accuracy over time. It’s aimed at network security teams using Tufin ST+ with the Topology Add-On, SC+, or Enterprise editions—especially those ready to move beyond time-consuming, error-prone network mapping.
