TXOne Networks has a new version of its Stellar endpoint security solution.

It offers "seamless detection and prevention capabilities with complete oversight for legacy and new OT (operational technology) devices," according to the company.

Stellar is designed for air-gapped OT environments where data cannot enter or leave unless it is transferred manually, TXOne noted.

The solution's features include:

  • Multi-method threat prevention that enables organizations to secure their OT/ICS devices from malware and abuse threats
  • Operations behavior anomaly detection to stop malware-free attacks
  • Operation lockdown to help organizations reduce the risk of downtime
  • Trusted control of USB devices to guard against unauthorized access

How TXOne Networks' Stellar Solution Works

Stellar consists of an agent that works with an organization's OT devices and a management console, TXOne said. The solution uses TXOne's cyber-physical system detection and response (CPSDR) capabilities to stop unexpected system changes before they can impact an organization's operations.

The agent applies an OT-context-focused database that TXOne manages in conjunction with device OEMs. The result is the ability to identify and preserve more than 8,000 OT/industrial control system (ICS) applications, certificates and devices.

Commenting on why organizations trust Stellar to protect against cyber threats, TXOne CEO Terence Liu said:

"Numerous prominent industry leaders across diverse sectors are already entrusting our Stellar Endpoint security solution to safeguard their critical assets. With the introduction of the CPSDR feature in Stellar 3.0, enterprises can uphold operational stability and proactively mitigate unforeseen threats."

TXOne Networks Introduces Security Inspection Tool for OT Environments

The Stellar announcement comes after TXOne in April 2023 unveiled an agentless, malware-free Portable Inspector solution for OT risk and asset management. TXOne showcased its Portable Inspector solution at the RSA Conference in San Francisco, California.

TXOne's Portable Inspector consists of a USB stick that generates virus-free reports for regulatory compliance and conducts risk assessments to look for system vulnerabilities, the company stated.

Portable Inspector uses TXOne's ElementOne management console for asset security overviews of an organization's ICS and OT environments.

A Closer Look at TXOne Networks

TXOne offers network- and endpoint-based solutions built on OT zero trust-based technologies, the company said. These solutions help organizations secure and manage their ICS and OT environments.

TXOne provides a partner program. To date, TXOne has partnered with manufacturers, critical infrastructure operators and other organizations from around the world.
