WatchGuard Builds New Endpoint Protections into Cloud Management Platform

Share

WatchGuard Technologies has integrated endpoint security capabilities into its WatchGuard Cloud platform. In doing so, MSSPs and customers can deploy and manage endpoint security, network security and multi-factor authentication (MFA) services via WatchGuard Cloud, the company said.

The endpoint security capabilities are based on WatchGuard's buyout of Panda Security in March 2020.

Fast forward to present day. MSSPs can leverage WatchGuard Cloud to deliver next-generation antivirus, AI-enabled endpoint detection and response (EDR), network security and authentication services via a unified security platform, SVP of Product Management Andrew Young stated.

In addition to the product enhancements, WatchGuard continues to invest in MSSP partner support. An Example: WatchGuard in March 2021 appointed Miguel Carrero as its VP of strategic accounts. Carrero leads WatchGuard's efforts to target, onboard and manage partnerships with MSSPs, global service providers and other strategic accounts.

WatchGuard delivers network security, secure Wi-Fi, MFA, endpoint protection and network intelligence solutions. Nearly 18,000 security resellers and service providers use WatchGuard solutions to support over 250,000 customers worldwide.
