Fleet Device Management joins Anthropic’s Project Glasswing to enhance AI security

Fleet Device Management has become a participant in Anthropic’s Project Glasswing, aiming to bridge the growing security gap between the rapid exploitation of vulnerabilities and the slower pace of organizational identification and remediation, according to Channel Insider.

This collaboration focuses on exploring how frontier AI can bolster the security of device management systems and MDM protocols. Fleet will evaluate AI's potential to improve defensive workflows, including endpoint state assessment, prioritization of remediation efforts, and enhancing the speed and safety of internal security operations. The initiative addresses a critical challenge highlighted by Fleet's recent survey, which found that 79% of organizations take over a day to deploy essential security patches, while attackers exploit vulnerabilities within hours.

By joining Project Glasswing, Fleet seeks to leverage AI to accelerate the identification, evaluation, and response to security risks, contributing to the broader endpoint security community. Anthropic launched Project Glasswing in April 2026 to address concerns about AI's vulnerability discovery capabilities, and Fleet's involvement extends this focus to device management, potentially offering significant improvements for MSPs and other service providers.
