Frank Basanta, a prominent figure in the technology solutions and staffing industry for over four decades, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 4, at the age of 69, according to CRN. Basanta was known for his dedication to clients and his passion for the technology sector.
Basanta, executive vice president of the Jeroboam Group, had a distinguished career that began in sales before transitioning to technical recruiting. He spent nearly 22 years as managing director of technology for Systems Solutions and two years as a partner at Nowack Consulting Services. Throughout his career, Basanta was recognized for his commitment to placing highly skilled technology specialists, including those in AI solutions.
His brother, Joseph, who founded the Jeroboam Group, recalled Basanta's meticulous approach and unwavering dedication to his clients, often going the extra mile to ensure successful placements. Basanta also had a passion for aquarium keeping and volunteered at a local pet shop. He is survived by his partner of three decades, Kathy D’Elena.
