Groundcover becomes Google Cloud partner, enhances GKE Autopilot observability

Groundcover, an observability platform, has joined the Google Cloud Partner Network as a Select Google Cloud Technology Partner. This integration makes groundcover an approved workload for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Autopilot, allowing users to deploy the platform without modifying their applications, as first reported by Channel Insider.

As an approved partner workload, groundcover enables customers using GKE Autopilot to deploy its eBPF sensor for full-stack telemetry capture while maintaining Autopilot's managed operational model and security. This integration allows for deployment through Google's allowlisting process for privileged partner workloads. John Broad, Head of Partners & Alliances at groundcover, stated that this approval ensures engineers receive deep visibility without compromising Autopilot's security.

The company is also expanding its channel strategy, seeking partners who can align observability deployments with broader client technology and business priorities. Partners are leveraging groundcover to manage telemetry costs, monitor cloud-native and AI workloads, and support hybrid or air-gapped environments. Groundcover plans to launch technical and sales certifications in the third quarter of 2026, followed by an MDF program in early 2027.
