HPE is merging its networking and Juniper Networks partner programs into a unified Partner Ready Vantage program, effective Nov. 1. According to insights from CRN, this integration is designed to unlock significant cross-selling opportunities by offering the combined networking portfolio to a wider range of sellers and customers.
HPE Networking President Rami Rahim announced the formal integration of the Juniper Networks and HPE partner programs, dubbed 'Partner Day One,' on Nov. 1. This move aims to simplify the sales process for all 60,000 HPE partners, enabling them to sell the full networking portfolio through a single, unified program. Previously, only about 10 percent of HPE Aruba and Juniper Networking partners overlapped. Rahim anticipates this integration will increase the cross-sell win rate, which is currently low. In parallel, HPE is developing a modern, single quote-to-cash system to streamline business operations and product launches, with initial quoting and ordering integrated in November and supply chain unification targeted by the end of 2027.
The company also raised its cost synergy target for the $13.4 billion Juniper Networks acquisition to $800 million for fiscal 2028, citing efficiencies in SG&A, go-to-market harmonization, and R&D cost reduction. Partners like PKA Technologies and D&H Distributing view the integration positively, expecting it to drive significant growth and simplify deal profitability in a competitive market against rivals like Cisco and Arista.
