Huntress expands cybersecurity platform to Africa through QBS Software partnership

Huntress is expanding its reach into the African market by establishing a distribution partnership with QBS Software Africa, as noted by Channel Insider. This collaboration aims to provide managed service providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs) across the continent with access to Huntress's comprehensive cybersecurity platform and round-the-clock security operations capabilities.

The expansion will initially focus on South Africa, with plans to extend into other Sub-Saharan African markets. QBS Software Africa will leverage its local channel relationships, technical support, and go-to-market strategies to facilitate Huntress's regional establishment. This move comes at a critical time, as INTERPOL reports indicate that AI is linked to 55% of cybercrimes in Africa, resulting in over $5 billion USD in economic damages.

Through this partnership, African MSPs and VARs will gain access to the Huntress Agentic Security Platform, offering protection for endpoints, identities, logs, security posture, and employee behavior, supported by a 24/7 AI-centric Security Operations Center (SOC). This initiative builds upon Huntress's existing global expansion, which currently serves 270,000 businesses in over 100 countries.
