Infotrust reports 9.8% growth amid strategic shift to pure MSSP

Despite a significant strategic transformation including the divestment of NexGen and the acquisition of Catalyst Cyber, Infotrust has reported financial year 2026 growth of 9.8 per cent to $64.1 million. The company's gross margin increased 6.6 per cent to $46.9 million, while underlying earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (uEBITDA) declined 20.3 per cent to $2.7 million. The company reported a statutory loss of $23.1 million for FY26, which included a $19.85 million disposal-related loss on NexGen, based on information published by Arn Net.

The divestment of its NexGen cloud and communications business has repositioned Infotrust to focus solely on cybersecurity and digital resilience. This strategic move, which generated up to $50 million in cash, also simplified the company's operating model, creating a leaner and more scalable organization. Further strengthening its cybersecurity focus, Infotrust acquired Catalyst Cyber in April, enhancing its presence in the federal government market. Catalyst Cyber contributed $2.1 million in revenue and approximately $0.5 million in profit after tax in its initial ten weeks. Infotrust anticipates more than $6 million in underlying EBITDA for FY27, a significant increase from the $2.7 million reported in FY26. The company also refreshed its leadership with a new CEO and CFO to capitalize on cybersecurity growth opportunities.
