Terra Security has secured $30 million in Series A funding to grow its AI-powered penetration testing platform. The round, led by Felicis with backing from Dell Technology Capital and SVCI, brings the company’s total funding to $38 million. Based in Tel Aviv and founded in 2024, Terra is building out an offensive security model that blends AI automation with human expertise. The company’s approach centers on continuous, agentic-AI penetration testing that maps to real-world attacker tactics. Instead of point-in-time assessments, the platform runs ongoing, context-aware tests designed to uncover high-impact vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them. Its swarm of AI agents performs thousands of tailored checks, adjusting to each enterprise’s unique environment. With the fresh funding, Terra plans to expand its platform beyond core pen testing to include AI-based red teaming, widening its ability to cover enterprise attack surfaces. The capital will also support hiring, product development, and customer adoption as the startup works to position itself as a key player in offensive security automation.Terra already serves Fortune 500 and other large enterprises, with teams operating in Israel and the U.S. Alongside the funding news, the company added former Google CISO Gerhard Eschelback to its board of directors, signaling its intent to strengthen both technical depth and market credibility as it pushes further into enterprise security.
