ThreatLocker has raised $190 million in Series F funding to expand its zero-trust security platform, develop controls for AI-related risks, and grow its international operations. The round was led by Elephant, with participation from D. E. Shaw Ventures, Arthur Ventures, and new investor Koch Disruptive Technologies. The company plans to open an office in Reading, U.K., adding to its locations in Orlando, Dublin, Dubai, and Brisbane. The company’s platform uses application allowlisting and access controls to limit what software, users and devices can do across customer environments. ThreatLocker is extending that approach to AI agents, AI-generated code, and unauthorized AI tools. Its Ringfencing technology controls which files, applications, and other resources approved software can access, while additional policies govern the use of AI websites and the movement of sensitive data.ThreatLocker has also moved beyond endpoint controls with the recent introduction of zero-trust network access and cloud access products. The company said more than 70,000 organizations now use its technology. ThreatLocker's broader platform creates an opportunity for MSPs to manage application control, network access, and cloud policies through one security stack. The funding gives ThreatLocker more room to compete as security vendors add controls for AI applications and machine identities to their platforms. Its next phase will center on turning those capabilities into services that customers and partners can manage without adding policy complexity.
