UpGuard has launched Risk Automations, adding an action layer to its Cyber Risk Posture Management platform. The new capability is designed to move teams from risk discovery to resolution in seconds. It becomes the fifth pillar of the platform, alongside Vendor Risk, Breach Risk, User Risk, and Trust Exchange, and focuses on turning identified risks into measurable remediation steps.Security and GRC teams often struggle with disconnected tools, manual ticket creation, and constant context switching. Risk Automations connects risk intelligence directly to operational systems, reducing handoffs and delays. With integrations across more than 100 tools, including ServiceNow, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Jira, Zendesk, Cloudflare, and Entra, the platform centralizes visibility and pushes actions into the systems teams already use.The capability includes a visual, node-based workflow editor and a library of prebuilt templates. Teams can automate the full lifecycle of a risk, from detection and triage to ticketing and system-level remediation, such as blocking malicious IP addresses or resetting compromised credentials. Workflows can be fully automated or include human approval steps for more sensitive actions. The launch follows UpGuard’s recent $75 million Series C funding round and signals continued investment in platform expansion. Risk Automations is available to existing customers and will be featured at the company’s virtual UpGuard Summit, where the focus is on practical approaches to reducing enterprise cyber risk.
