Cloud edge platform provider Fastly has launched a partner program that "makes it easier" for partners to win more business while ensuring customers "get the value and quality they expect," says Emily Friedberg, the company's group vice president of Global Partnerships.

The new program extends Fastly's Global Partner Network and offers flexibility, support and incentives to MSSPs, MSPs, value-added resellers (VARs), systems integrators (SIs) and other channel partners, the company stated. Its tiered model offers training, marketing support, sales enablement and pricing and packaging options. It also provides benefits, incentives and rewards based on partner investment and engagement.

Fastly's current partners have been automatically enrolled in the new program and can access its resources and benefits, the company indicated.

Introducing Fastly's Managed Security Service

Fastly's new channel partner program announcement comes after the company in March 2023 released its Next-Gen Web Application Firewall (WAF) managed security service.

Next-Gen WAF customers can use the managed security service to monitor and mitigate web application attacks, Fastly said. The service is backed by Fastly's global customer security operations center (SOC) and a 15-minute response time service-level agreement for security incidents. It also offers security event reporting and consultations and ensures that Next-Gen WAF customers can assess security events, generate security insights and find ways to strengthen their security posture.

What to Expect from Fastly in the Remainder of 2023

Fastly is eyeing "continued momentum" in 2023, CEO Todd Nightingale said in February 2023. The company is projecting total revenue of $495 million to $505 million in 2023. Previously, Fastly reported $432.7 million in total revenue in 2022, which represented a 22% year-over-year increase.

Organizations can utilize Fastly's edge compute, delivery, security and observability solutions to deliver fast and secure online experiences, the company noted. Fastly's solutions are used by thousands of organizations globally.
