Howdy Partner” is name of a new program from SolCyber designed to help MSPs boost their cybersecurity capabilities.

“Fortune 500 Level Security”

The program relies on SolCyber’s Foundational Coverage services platform so MSPs can offer cyber protections to their customers with minimal investment or security knowledge, the company said in a prepared statement.

SolCyber CEO Scott McCrady, explained the merits of “Howdy Partner”:

“We’ve built a partner program that allows MSPs to offer amazing security to their customers. This isn’t just MDR but a Fortune 500 level security program, offered as a service, eliminating the need to build it from scratch. Because of our outcome-based approach customers also get access to expedited, simplified and discounted cyber insurance.

“This combination is a significant opportunity for many MSPs to protect their customers, de-risk them with insurance coverage and make amazing margins on the business with our stacked discounts. Most MSPs are aware that their customers have growing concerns around cyber risks, so in order to retain their existing business and find new revenue opportunities, they need to have an excellent security offering.”

Partner Program Options

Security threats and cyber attacks on small to mid-sized business (SMBs) continue to increase in both numbers and complexity, asserts SolCyber, a Top 250 MSSP. These force SMBs to lean on their MSPs to provide advanced levels of security and support. Now, many MSPs are evaluating how they can expand the breadth and depth of their security capabilities, which is an extensive and costly exercise.

SolCyber notes that both reseller and referral options available through the “Howdy Partner” program. Reseller partners can integrate Foundational Coverage as part of their service offering, working together with the SolCyber team from sales to delivery. Referral partners can simply pass a curious customer over to SolCyber and enjoy a cut of the follow-on services revenue.
