Optiv, a security solutions integrator and Top 250 MSSP, is reinventing its partner program with the intent of helping organizations deliver innovative security solutions and services to grow and meet their income goals, according to the company.

Commenting on his company's updated partner program, Alan Mayer, Optiv's senior vice president of Partners, Alliances and Ecosystems, said:

"Ultimately, our partner program is all about growth for our partners, growth for Optiv and better business outcomes for our clients — a necessity at a time when security transformation is critical. As the partner of choice for hundreds of technology vendors and thousands of clients, our partner program uniquely positions us to advise, deploy and operate custom technology solutions for clients based on their unique business goals."

What Optiv's Partner Program Offers

Optiv serves as the "largest convener of cybersecurity technology providers in the market today," the company indicated. It works with partners in every major domain, including:

  • Traditional cybersecurity technology
  • Cloud security
  • Emerging technology/solution providers
  • Co-innovation solutions

Optiv provides organizations "with comprehensive solution possibilities that meet them where they are on a journey of security and resilience" through its partner program, the company stated. The program emphasizes a data-driven, outcome-based approach that promotes joint accountability between Optiv and its partners.

CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks and Proofpoint are three of the cybersecurity companies that have partnered with Optiv to date. Meanwhile, Optiv continues to pursue partnerships "to be at the forefront of the future of cybersecurity," the business noted.

Optiv Acquires Government Cybersecurity Specialist

Previously, Optiv in March 2023 bought government cybersecurity value-added reseller (VAR) ClearShark for an undisclosed sum.

ClearShark more than doubles Optiv's federal market presence, the businesses said. It expands Optiv’s federal team, cybersecurity services and solutions, technical capabilities and federal resources. In addition, ClearShark serves as the "cornerstone" of Optiv's federal business, Optiv CEO Kevin Lynch stated.

Optiv offers cybersecurity services and solutions to nearly 6,000 organizations. The company has technology partnerships in place with more than 450 vendors.
