WatchGuard Technologies, a network security and intelligence provider, has introduced an endpoint security specialization for its WatchGuardONE channel partner program, according to a prepared statement.
The specialization enables WatchGuardONE partners to sell Panda endpoint security solutions, the company said. Panda partners also can earn the specialization, as well as sell WatchGuard’s network security, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure Wi-Fi offerings.
Furthermore, channel partners that earn WatchGuard’s endpoint security specialization can achieve WatchGuardONE status, the company said. In doing so, they can receive financial incentives and sales, marketing and technical support.
WatchGuard Unveils Panda Security Early Access Program, Adds Partners
Along with adding a WatchGuardONE endpoint security specialization, WatchGuard in June announced the Panda Security Early Access Program, which allows its partners to leverage Panda solutions. Since that time, more than 25 percent of WatchGuardONE partners have deployed Panda’s Adaptive Defense 360 endpoint protection and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions internally and integrated them into their portfolios.
WatchGuard has added 6,500 new partners from Panda this year, the company stated. It currently has over 18,000 active partners globally.
In addition to WatchGuard, other companies that recently acquired endpoint security providers include:
HP: Purchased Bromium, which offers virtualization-based endpoint security products.
Global endpoint security market revenues are projected to increase at a compound annual growth rate of 7 percent between 2017 and 2024, industry analyst Market Study Report indicated. These revenues also could total $7.5 billion by 2024.
