Check Point Software Technologies has unveiled Infinity Spark, a threat prevention solution that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to secure small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

How Infinity Spark Protects SMBs

Infinity Spark protects SMBs' networks, emails, offices, endpoints and mobile devices, Check Point said. The solution protects SMBs against phishing, ransomware, credential theft and DNS attacks. It also delivers a 99.7% malware threat catch rate, the company said. Check Point's Quantum Spark 1500 Pro Series firewalls help SMBs improve their application performance and maximum uptime.

SMBs can use Infinity Spark to consolidate their security "into an 'all-in-one' platform with a simple monthly price plan," said Eyal Manor, Check Point's vice president of Product Management.

Infinity Spark allows SMBs to invest in cybersecurity and adapt to a hybrid work model. At the same time, Infinity Spark helps SMBs overcome the shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals and improve their security coverage without complicated onboarding processes.

Check Point Introduces XDR/XPR Platform, Risk Management Engine

The Infinity Spark launch comes after Check Point in February 2023 announced the Horizon XDR/XPR (extended detection and response/extended prevention and response) platform. Organizations can use Horizon XDR/XPR in conjunction with their other security tools to identify and analyze cyber threats and stop them before the lead to data breaches, Check Point indicated.

This month, Check Point released the added its Effective Risk Management (ERM) engine to its CloudGuard Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). The ERM engine helps security teams eliminate misconfigurations, overprivileged access and other vulnerabilities, Check Point stated.

Check Point provides security solutions to businesses and governments around the world. In addition, Check Point offers a partner program that allows MSSPs to use its security solutions to deliver managed detection and response (MDR) and managed prevention and response (MPR) services.
